The eight editorial bands this atlas's homepage and category pages are organized under: Crafts, Hobbies and Pastimes, Tools and Equipment, Figures, Institutions and Societies, Concepts and Movements, Milestones, and Projects and Patterns. A section is a navigational band grouping one category under one editorial heading, distinct from the category entity of the same or a similar name that a reader actually browses entries within.
