Projects and Patterns

Projects and Patterns groups specific named designs, plans, templates and project instructions used within a hobby or craft discipline, such as a named quilt block or knitting pattern, a woodworking project plan, a model-kit design, an embroidery sampler, or a published pattern series that hobbyists follow to produce a finished piece. Belongs here: a specific named pattern or project, the craft it belongs to, its designer or publisher where known, and its distinguishing technique or finished result. Does not belong here: the craft discipline itself as a general practice, filed under Crafts or Hobbies and Pastimes; the tools or equipment used to execute a pattern, filed under Tools and Equipment; and clubs, guilds or societies organized around a craft, filed under Institutions and Societies.
