The national representative body for quilt makers across Britain, formed to promote and maintain, for the public benefit, the art, history, heritage and techniques of the allied crafts of patchwork, applique and quilting. It holds charitable status and cares for a collection of more than six hundred historic and contemporary quilts, once shown in a dedicated museum that operated from 2008 to 2015.
