Radio Society of Great Britain

The Radio Society of Great Britain is the United Kingdom's recognized national organization for amateur radio operators, representing roughly 80,000 licensed radio amateurs to the UK government and international bodies. It was established in 1913 as the London Wireless Club, making it one of the world's oldest amateur radio societies. The RSGB advises the UK telecommunications regulator Ofcom on spectrum allocation and licensing, publishes the monthly magazine RadCom, supports affiliated local and specialist groups, and operates the National Radio Centre at Bletchley Park; it has about 21,200 members today.
