The National Basketry Organization is a nonprofit founded in 1999 and incorporated in 2000 to support and promote basket making in the United States and beyond. It has grown to nearly seven hundred members reflecting the diversity of basket makers working across the country, and it connects makers, collectors and researchers through exhibitions, publications and educational programs centered on the craft of basketry.
