The Canadian Crafts Federation is the national arts service organization representing the provincial and territorial craft councils of Canada and the people working in the country's crafts sector. It traces its roots to the Canadian Guild of Crafts, founded in 1900, and took its current federated form in 1974 when the guild merged with other bodies to create what became the Canadian Crafts Council. The federation coordinates market research and national projects for the sector, including hosting the touring exhibition Unity and Diversity of contemporary Canadian fine craft in 2009 and taking part in the 2010 Cultural Olympiad in Vancouver.
