A plywood saw is a saw with a fine-toothed blade designed to minimize tearing of the outer plies of a sheet of plywood as it is cut. An extra set of teeth on the curved upper edge of the blade lets a cut be started on the inside of a panel, away from its edge, without first drilling a starting hole. A standard plywood saw blade is 11 inches long, with 14 teeth per inch.
