This includes the sharpening jig that holds a blade at a fixed angle while it is honed, honing oil used to lubricate a sharpening stone and carry away the metal it removes, the saw set used to adjust how far a saw's teeth are bent outward so the blade cuts a clean kerf without binding, and the burnisher used to raise the fine hooked burr on the edge of a card scraper that lets the scraper cut a shaving.
