Pipe Clamp

A pipe clamp is a type of clamp used in piping work as well as in woodworking and cabinet shops. In a woodworking or cabinet shop, a pipe clamp is usually made up of commercially manufactured clamp heads, or jaws, fitted onto a length of common threaded pipe, and the capacity of the clamp is set by the length of pipe used. In piping work, by contrast, a pipe clamp is used to connect a pipe to its supporting pipe hanger assembly rather than to hold workpieces together.
