A spline roller, also called a screen roller, is a small hand tool used to press screen mesh into the fluted inner edges of a window frame, or to press in the flexible retaining spline that holds that mesh in place. The two functions are often combined into a single tool, or the roller is combined with a spline cutter in one unit; current versions are made from plastic, or from wood and metal.
