Chinese Checkers

Chinese checkers, called Chinese chequers in British English and Sternhalma in German, is a strategy board game of German origin that can be played by two, three, four, or six people, either individually or in partnerships. It is a modern, simplified variation of an older game called Halma. Players race to move all of their own pieces across a hexagram shaped board into the home corner opposite their own starting corner, using single step moves or moves that jump over other pieces, and the remaining players continue play to settle the later finishing positions.
