Warping Board

Spinning and Weaving Tools

A flat frame set with wooden pegs around which the warp yarn is wound back and forth to measure it to an exact, consistent length and tension before it goes onto the loom. A warping mill does the same job on a rotating frame instead, better suited to the long warps a floor loom needs.
