Escapology is the practice of escaping from restraints or other traps. Its practitioners, called escapologists or escape artists, work at freeing themselves from constraints such as handcuffs, straitjackets, cages, coffins, steel boxes, barrels, bags and burning buildings, and even submerged fish tanks, often combining several of these perils into a single act. This hobby is a distinct pursuit from the live Magic (Illusion) entity already on this atlas: escapology is specifically the art of escaping physical restraint, not the broader practice of illusion.
