Veiner (Leathercraft)

Leathercraft Tools

A veiner is a leather carving tool used to create a curved impression made up of a series of short, closely spaced lines. It is closely related to the shell tool, the two differing only in that a veiner leaves a simple curved line while a shell tool leaves a pattern resembling the edge of a scallop.
