Candle Accessories

Small accessories used with burning candles, such as the candle snuffer that puts out a flame or trims a wick and the bobeche, a cupped ring that catches drips of wax. A tool belongs here when its cited source describes it as used with a lit candle or a candleholder. It excludes the molds and melters used to make candles. These pieces are as old as candles themselves, and many were made as ornaments of brass, silver or glass as well as plain household tools.
