Groundhopping is a hobby that involves attending sports matches at as many different stadiums or grounds as possible, largely a football-related pastime. Its practitioners are called groundhoppers, hoppers or travellers, and are generally football fans who hold a neutral opinion regarding football clubs rather than following one team, instead trying to attend as many football games in as many stadiums or venues as they can and treating the whole pursuit as a leisure activity.
