Round-nose pliers, often called rosary pliers in the jewelry trade, are a specialized type of pliers whose jaws have an approximately round cross section, usually with a smooth surface finish and a diameter that tapers toward the tips. The rounded, taper jaws let a crafter form consistent wire loops of a chosen size, a shape a flat-jawed plier cannot produce.
