Escape Room

An escape room, also called an escape game, puzzle room, exit game, or riddle room, is a game in which a team of players finds clues, solves puzzles, and completes tasks within one or more rooms in order to reach a specific goal, typically escaping the room, before time runs out. Most escape games are built around cooperative play among the team, though some competitive versions also exist, and the format grew sharply in popularity across North America, Europe, and East Asia during the 2010s. The first permanent, fixed-location escape room facilities opened in Asia, with further venues following in Hungary, Serbia, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, and South America.
