Danish Christmas Plates

Danish Christmas plates are collectible porcelain plates issued annually by porcelain manufacturers in Denmark, and collecting them each year is a seasonal hobby for enthusiasts of Danish design. The first annual Christmas plate was produced by Bing and Grondahl in 1895, with Royal Copenhagen following in 1908, and each plate is blue and white in color and bears its year of issuance before the mold used to make it is discontinued after Christmas Eve.
