Coin Roll Hunting

Coin Roll Hunting, often abbreviated CRH, is the hobby of searching and sorting coinage pulled from circulation for collectible coins. The practice is carried out by obtaining rolled coin, boxed coin or bagged coin from banks and credit unions and searching through it for coins worth collecting. A variant of the practice involves banknotes rather than coins, carried out in essentially the same fashion, normally to search for unusual or fancy serial numbers, star notes and misprints.
