Breweriana Collecting

Breweriana Collecting is the pursuit of gathering breweriana, articles carrying a brewery or beer brand name such as cans, bottles, bottle openers, labels, tin signs, mats, steins, trays, taps, wooden cases and neon signs. In the United States the hobby is organized through clubs including the National Association of Breweriana Advertising, founded in 1972 and publisher of the quarterly magazine The Breweriana Collector, alongside the American Breweriana Association and the East Coast Breweriana Association; the ABA National Brewery Museum and Research Library, housed at the former Potosi Brewing Company site in Wisconsin, keeps permanent and rotating displays of bottles, cans, glasses, coasters and advertising material. Internationally, the Brewery Collectibles World Convention, formed in 2012 from 16 clubs and grown past 70 member organizations, holds biennial world conventions in countries including Slovakia, Poland, Argentina, Turkey and Peru.
